Winter's Stars

Winter's Stars is a simple layout of 8" blocks framed by sashing and 2 separate borders.  It is designed to show off fabric with either beautiful pictures or an interesting all-over print.  The blocks have been placed to appear 'lighter' in the center and 'darker' just outside the center.

There are three different stars in this quilt; some have fancy cut pictures in the centers to tie the quilt together.  The stars are fun and easy and can be exchanged to favor your own fabric pictures.
